Recycling Pre-Proposal

Here we can compile the basic outline of the problems and proposed solutions. Ultimately we can use this to discuss what is in the way of getting to those solutions.

[edit] Identification of problems and needs

• Place more recycle bins outdoors, JEC walk way, library foot path, in front of public safety, etc.
• Not all buildings have all kinds of recycling (paper, container, etc.), and some buildings have virtually no recycling (Greene Building).
• After catered events, the garbages are overflowing with both trash and recyclables, since there were no recycling bins around.
• When you check in a lone garbage can, you see bottles that should have been recycled.

[edit] What we'd like to see

• That every building has both paper and container recycling (not all do).
• Make it easier to recycle: if someone wants to recycle, (s)he shouldn't have to go out of her way to do it.
