How do I create a 'category'. Maybe someone can give me a 5-10 minute wiki editing tutorial. --Willil8 00:11, 27 March 2008 (EDT)

You can see I created a basic 'how to' list. I am starting to like the idea of everything being done on the wiki. multiple chefs creating a better soup using the internet so to speak. --Willil8 00:25, 27 March 2008 (EDT)

Ok, so my idea is that we skip the project formation page and go straight from project idea to project proposal. then we use 'category' tags to tag each project the way Laben wanted -and also to identify which part of the Rensselaer Plan that the project might 'fit' with. Categories are created by adding a link to "Category:Name of the Category", for example [[Category:SSTF proposals]]. Add it to the bottom of the page, and the wiki software takes care of creating the category.

Second point: I see what you mean, but I still think SSTF project formation has its place. See my updates and we'll discuss. -Frank 13:08, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
